Preparing kofta mixture
1- In a mixing bowl, take the ingredients required for making the cabbage koftas –
250 gms finely chopped cabbage
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp coriander leaves
1 tbsp roasted coriander seeds
2 finely chopped green chilies
¼ tbsp turmeric,
½ tbsp coriander powder
½ tbsp garam masala
¼ tbsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
2- Add 4 tbsp Besan (gram flour), 2 tbsp Maida and mix well.
If the kofta mixture looks dry, then you can add some water. If it’s too moist and batter-like, then no need to add any water. I added about 1/4 cup of water.

5- Take the ingredients to prepare a curry-
2 medium-size finely chopped onion
½ tbsp finely chopped garlic
1 tbsp Jeera
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp Kitchen King masala
½ tbsp turmeric
½ tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp coriander leaves
Salt to taste
6- In the same Kadai, remove the excess oil that we had used for frying the koftas and keep about 2 tbsp oil. First add the Jeera in the hot oil. Then add the onions and fry till the onions get golden. Add all the spices and 2 tbsp water to make a thick paste like curry.
7- Add 2 cups of water and wait until you get a boil. After 5 minutes of boiling water add the koftas and let it again boil for another 5 minutes. Simmer the mixture till it thickens a bit and reaches a medium gravy consistency.
8- Garnish the curry with chopped coriander leaves. Serve the cabbage kofta with rotis, naan, parathas, or jeera rice. Serve hot for that delicious taste.
