The Bihari Style Aloo Ka Chokha Recipe is a delicious combination of mashed potatoes combined with green chilies, onions and coriander and other roasted spices along with mustard oil. Traditionally it is served along with Litti and popularly known as Litti Chokha.
But you can serve the Bihari Style Aloo Ka Chokha, as a spread over breads like pav and top it with sev or bhujia. Or you can also serve it over a papad and make it as an appetizer for parties. .

Ingredients
4-5 boiled potatoes
1 finely chopped onion
2-3 green chillies
Handful of coriander leaves
2 dry red chillies
¼ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp roasted coriander seeds
1 tbsp mustard oil
Salt to taste
Instruction:
- In a bowl take boiled potatoes and mash them.
- Add chopped onion, coriander leaves, salt to taste, mustard oil and mix well.
- For seasoning, heat the oil, add cumin seeds and dry red chilli. Add the season to the mixture of potato.
- Add roasted coriander seeds to the mixture and mix well.
- Chokha is ready. Serve this with hot Littis and enjoy the flavours.
