So let’s start preparing the delicious Bhindi do Pyaza

- Let it cool down completely and blend it in a coarse powder. The Bhindi masala is ready.

- This bhindi masala can be used any dry dishes or for stuffing the bhindi.

Instruction to cook bhindi do pyaza

- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan or kadhai on a medium flame. If using mustard oil, heat it well until it's really hot and then lower the heat before adding any ingredient.

- Now add the 4-5 crushed garlic cloves, chopped green chilies and stir well for a few seconds.

- Then add the cubbed size cut onions and saute for 2 mins.

- When the onion turns translucent add the chopped bhindi (okra) cut in round shape and mix well.

- Keep stirring occasionally and cook on a low medium flame.

- After cooking for 10 mins when the bhindi (okra) is no more slimy add ¼ tsp turmeric powder and ½ tsp bhindi masala with salt to taste.

(Okra is slimy in nature and can give a lot of trouble while chopping and cooking. A good way to minimize the sliminess is to wash the okra and then pat dry it with a kitchen towel.)

- Cook for another 20 mins and keep stirring in between.

- Add lemon juice (optional) and mix. Serve bhindi do pyaza with paratha, roti or any bread of your choice.

Happy Cooking!!!
